At Cameron Communications, the communities we serve are very important to us. They are more than just markets or areas on a map. These communities are our homes. We support the schools, attend the churches and patronize the businesses to which we supply service. From central Louisiana to the Texas Gulf coast, this is our neighborhood.

Our commitment as a good neighbor is to be active in our communities and to support our neighborhood schools. In 2001, we launched “Distance Learning” in central Louisiana to help rural schools expand their curriculum and offer McNeese State University classes to high school students. We award a scholarship each year to one deserving graduate from each of the eleven high schools in our service areas in Louisiana and Texas.  We also support local schools through Partners in Education, and we assist future farmers and ranchers at area schools  through patronage at livestock shows and rodeo clubs.

We're involved with neighborhood senior centers, Council on Aging programs, Big Brothers/Big Sisters programs and local Scouting events. We actively support firefighters and law enforcement officers in our communities. Our employees regularly volunteer at area charity golf tournaments and sporting events, as well as for many other fundraising activities, including fighting heart disease, cancer, diabetes and other health issues. We roll up our sleeves at area blood drives.
