Enhanced Local Optional Service allows you to call communities within 40 miles of your telephone office for a base monthly charge of $0.97 for residences and $2 for businesses. In addition, LOS calls are billed at a reduced per-minute-of-use basis, but are capped at $15 per month for residences and $25 per month for businesses. Once you enroll in the Enhanced LOS plan, dial any number included in your area just as you would a local phone number.
